This Is Me

This activity provides an opportunity to hear first hand, the many stories new migrants have as they settle into their new country and their new home.

Why did they decide to emigrate? What was life like in their country of birth? What does this new country offer? All these questions and more are answered as we hear from our special guests. These informal, free gatherings occur in cafes, parks and small venues where both audience and guest feel safe and welcomed.

This is Me helps to dispel myths by reducing a ‘fear of the unknown’, builds knowledge, awareness, harmony and acceptance in the Bunbury Geographe community. These occur approximately twice a year, so keep an eye on the events calendar for the next date.
